2. 过去进行时的用法：(1)过去进行时表示过去某一段时间或某一时刻正在进行的动作。常用的时间状语有：at that time/mment,(at)this time yesterday(last night/Sunday/week …), at+钟点+yesterday(last night / Sunday …)，when引导的时间状语从句等。如：What were yu ding at 5 p.m. yesterday? 昨天下午5点你在干什么？
(2)when和while意为“当……的时候”时，when后面通常接短暂性动词的过去时态，while后面通常接持续性动词的进行时态，且可以连接两个同时发生的动作。如：When the huse explded, I was walking past it.=While I was walking past the huse, it explded. 当我路过那所房子的时候，它(突然)爆炸了。
