TeachingContents(教学内容)PEP五下Unit 6 Work quietly B Read and write  ( The world robot exhibition )PriorKnowledge( 已有知识)1、学生在PEP小学英语五年级下册第五单元B部分初次涉及现在进行时的学习，第六单元的A部分是对此时态的进一步巩固，而第六单元B部分更是对现在进行时以robot为话题展开的有趣的小故事，学生对此话题将会非常感兴趣。2、里面出现的drawing pictures，speaking Chinese ... 是前面一二单元或五年级上册出现过的动词短语的现在分词的变形，学生理解起来不是难点。Teaching Aims  语言能力：（1）学生熟练掌握用现在进行时来描述robot正在做的事情。（2）新学习Japan，Spain 两个国家的单词，以及Canada，China，Japan，Spain，the USA对应的国籍Canadian，Chinese，Japanese，Spanish，American的读音及用法。最后学生会用这些词描述robot正在做某事eg. The Canadian robot is drawing a picture.（3）学生能模仿robot的声音、动作，进行角色扮演。2.学习能力：学生会读取图片信息，找到 How many robots do they see？Where are the robots from？学生能摄取文字信息，找到并会回答What’s the robot doing？3.文化意识：了解China，Canada，Japan，Spain，the USA 各个不同国家代表性的风土人情。 思维品质：学生通过回答Why the robot is .....？锻炼他们的思维。 Difficulties Canadian，Chinese，Japanese，Spanish，American的读音及用法。 Teaching Aids PPT，flashcardsProcedures Teacher’s 教师活动Students’ 学生活动Purpose教学目的   Warm up     Sing a song 《My friend robot》 .    Students will try to  sing aloud. 以歌曲热身，激发学生的兴趣，为Robin 的出场作好铺垫，也为本节课最后的问题首尾呼应。Lead inPresent the title of the story : The world robot exhibition .  Students will learn the new words : world , exhibition .以老朋友Robin切入本节课的主题，自然过渡。Presentation Present the story about Robin in the world robot exhibition . Teach the words of different countries .  Task 1  Read and choose:How many kinds of robots does Robin see ?  Task 2  Read and match: Read the story again and find out where are the robots from ?  Task 3  Fill in the blanks .  Task 4  Listen and repeat .   Listen to the story carefully, learn the new words of different countries .   Read the story by themselves and choose the answer to the question.  Read the story again , match the robots and the countries . Try to fill in the blanks , pay attention to the tip .  Listen and repeat the story.  通过Robin在 world robot exhibition中参观遇到的不同国家的robot为主线，展开的有趣对话，以视频形式渗透不同的国家文化，提高学生的学习积极性。   通过听说训练、阅读训练，步步推进故事阅读教学。在阅读过程中，精心设计几个学习任务，让学生不断思考。  在任务完成的过程中，层层推进故事情节分析，帮助学生学习理解新词汇和句型。 ConsolidationTask 5  Retell the story .  Students will retell the story . 学生通过故事的复述，进一步加强了对故事的理解，巩固了故事的内容。Task 6  Design your own robot .  Students will design their own robots according to the key points .通过关键问题提示，为学生设计自己的robot提供发散思维，促进学生语言的输出。Homework Listen and read the story again .Introduce your robot to your family .
