本单元为读写课，通过师生互动，生生互动等活动方式，学生产生由观察、倾听、理解到运用的变化，从而内化语言知识和技能，促进教学目标的达成。本节课的教学采用PWP教学模式。读前图片展示自然导入，自主讨论，关注差异。让学生对他人的生日喜好进行描述，从而将读写训练完美融合，更好地突出重点，有效地突破难点。

Act ut their wn dialgue abut their birthday parties in grups f three. Chse which grup is the best.
Step 2.Pre-reading(Activity1)
1. Ask: D yu ften get presents n yur birthday? Talk abut their birthday presents freely.
2. Lk at the pictures in Activity 1. Then read thrugh the list f presents .
3. Match the wrds with the pictures.
4. Check the answers with the partner. Then call back the answers frm the whle class.
5.Lk at the pictures. Make a survey t chse their birthday presents in grups.
6. Make a reprt abut their presents.
Step 3. While-reading (Activities2 and 3)
1. Get them t listen and match the peple with what they like ding , then check with a partner.

1.检查学生自编对话，评出优秀组，鼓励学生多多参与语言实践活动。
2.教师设计问题引出生日礼物的话题。
3.看图读单词和匹配单词既检查学生预习单词情况，同时也给出学生挑选礼物的范围。
4.学生合作互相检查单词。
5.以做调查的方式自由谈论挑选自己的生日礼物，熟练运用动词的第三人称单数来汇报调查表。从中学生也能准确预测课文即将学的内容。
课本活动二，让学生带着一个简单的任务去听全文，了解文章大意，查找相关信息，训练和提高学生的略读技能。
在学生了解文章大意的基础上，将全文分成4部分，逐段细读，每段辅以相应的任务，学生在解决这些任务的同时，将对文章各个段落的知识点进行掌握，学生将掌握重点词汇、短语的读音及含义；将理解频度副词和动词第三人称单数的使用。从而突出本课的教学重点。
本活动是上一步活动的拓展，使学生在新的语境中准确应用词汇，同时也是对课文的另一种理解将句子展示在屏幕上，红色反显文章中的（’），引导学生划出文中（’），指导学生在今后的写作中正确使用（’）。
学生成组交流自己最喜爱的礼物，培养学生的合作学习意识。
学生根据自己的调查采访，对自己朋友最喜爱的生日礼物进行描述，从而突破本课的教学难点，达成本课教学目标。
学生合作探究本课重点知识点，总结本课所学内容，达到细化和吸收。
