Unit2 It’s too big for you一、教学目标：1. 知识技能目标：a)语言功能：选择适合自己的物品并陈述理由b)学习任务：单词---light, heavy, broken, pocket，wheel 重点句型---This black bag is…   This blue one is… It’s big and light.  It’s got…pockets/ wheels.  c）运用任务：比较两种事物，发现其特点和优缺点；选择适合自己的物品并说明理由；描述一个物品；根据描述找出物品。2. 情感态度：培养学生与他人合作的精神以及用英语做事情的基本技能，要求学生能够在小组中与他人交流、学会评价他人。3. 学习策略：培养学生积极与他人合作、主动向他人学习、积极运用英语进行表达和交流、与同学共同完成学习二、 教学重点：     a) 语言功能：描述事物特征；选择适合自己的物品并陈述理由。     b) 学习任务：It’s big and light. It’s got…  三、教学难点：比较两种事物，发现并描述他们的优缺点。四、学过程：Step 1. Warming-up（热身活动）1. 师生问候，唱“彩虹歌”2. 通过卡片复习颜色。3. 看图复习形容词。4. 游戏：Say opposite words.(说反义词) Step 2. Presentation and New Teaching（呈现和新授课）1. 呈现学习任务: Today we’ll learn how to describe something in English. And Ms Chen will take you to the world of animals, and let’s see who can be “The Best Reporter”2. 幻灯片呈现两张风筝图片，并要求学生描述出它们的特征：    eg.  It’s blue. It’s small.-----This blue kite is small.   It’s red. It’s big.----This red kite is big.-----This red one is big.” 3．出示大小不一的两本英语书，让学生描述出它们的不同之处：     eg.  green—red, big---small, new---old4．师问：And other difference?(要求一位学生用手感觉它们的重量，并教学新单词light, heavy)5. 出示另一本破旧的蓝皮书，教学新词“broken”。6. 课件呈现两个行李包，比较并描述它们的特征：       (This black bag) It’s got four pockets.（教学“pocket”） (This blue one) It’s got four wheels.（教学“wheel”）7. 实际运用能力训练：介绍自己的书包Step 3. Text Teaching（课文教学）1.导入: Lingling’s going back to China, but her bag is broken. So Ms Smart wants to buy    her a new one. （播放CD-ROM并提出两个问题）        a. How many bags do they choose?      b. What colors are they?（她们选了几个包？）              （它们分别是什么颜色的？）2．再听一遍录音，思考问题：      ---How about the three bags?3.学生问答问题，师板书：This black bag is nice. It’s big and heavy.This blue one is big and light. It’s got… pockets / wheels.4.再听一遍，全班跟读。Step 4 .Practice（练习）1.练习1: 听音选择正确的图片。2.练习2：完成动物世界“王牌主播”的评选任务。eg. It’s a panda. It’s black and white.(颜色) It’s big and heavy.(形体)It’s got two big eyes.（身体部位）It’s cute and nice.（性格特征）
