A. Giving reasns with because
1. Because 语气最强，表直接原因，回答why的问题。通常放在主句之后，可单独使用。1）We stayed at hme because it rained.2）Why didn’t he cme? Because he was ill.3）My stmach hurts because I have eaten t many apples.4）---Why d yu lve her? ---Because she is kind.5） I d it because I like it.
2. because可引导表语从句等。It is because yu’re eating t much.Have yu ever walked int a rm and felt relaxed? It culd be because the walls were painted blue.3) It is because he is hnest that I like him.4) That is because yu can’t appreciate music.
3. because f 也可表达直接的原因，只不过其后接名词、代词或动名词。 1) He can’t cme because f his illness. 2) He is here because f yu.
because习惯上不与s连用　　汉语习惯上说“因为…所以…”，但英语习惯上却不能将 s与because 连用：　　因为下雨，所以我们呆在家里。　　正：Because it was raining, we stayed at hme. / It was raining, s we stayed at hme.　　误：Because it was raining, s we stayed at hme.
because 从句与 because f 短语的转换
Because引导的原因状语从句有时可与because f 短语转换，because f 后加的原因可以为好或坏。但最正规的还是because。　He can’t cme because he is ill. / He can’t cme because f his illness. 他因病不能来。　I said nthing abut it because his wife was there. / I said nthing abut it because f his wife’s being there. 因为他妻子在那儿，我对此事只字未提。
B. Giving reasns with since and as
since侧重主句，意思是“既然；由于；因为”，表示已知的、显然的理由since 比as语气稍强，且比as略微正式，它们引导的从句通常放在主句之前，有时也放在主句之后。不表示直接原因。Since可用于省略句，而其他连词不行。（见例2）1.Since everyne is here ,let's start2.Since s ,I have nthing t yu are wrng, yu shuld say srry.
as 鉴于主从并重，从句说原因，主句说结果 。1. As it is late, I must g .2. As yu were nt there , I left a message.as和since的用法大体相同，表示附带说明的“双方已知的原因”或者理由不是很重要，但语气更弱，没有since正式，常译为“由于，鉴于”。例如： As it is raining, yu’d better take a taxi. 既然在下雨， 你最好乘出租汽车。 As yu are tired, yu had better rest. 既然累了， 你最好休息一下。
fr 由于，表明附加理由（解释或推断），从句不放于句首,语气最弱。1.He must be ill, fr he is absent tday。2.It must have rained last night, fr the grund is wet.
