1．this与that的区别this，that在句子中都可以指代人或物，但二者分工明确，互不混淆。(1)指距离说话人较近的人或物时用this；指距离说话人较远的人或物时用that。 (2)当向别人介绍某人时，用“This is…”，其中this不能用he/she代替。(3)介绍放在一起的两样东西时，this在前，that跟在后。(4)this is无缩写形式，that is可以缩写成that's。
2．Is this yur pencil？这是你的铅笔吗？Is that yur schlbag？那是你的书包吗？Is this…？/Is that…？这是……吗？/那是……吗？这种句型是含有be动词的一般疑问句，其构成是：Be动词＋主语＋其他成份？读时成升调，句尾用问号。回答时主语用it代替，肯定回答：Yes，it is.否定回答：N，it isn't.
3．yur，my，her，his这些都是形容词性的物主代词，yurs，mine，his，hers是名词性物主代词。形容词性物主代词必须置于名词前作定语；名词性物主代词相当于 “形容词性物主代词＋名词”，在句子中主要是作主语、宾语和表语。 eg：My ruler is yellw.Hers is brwn.(my 作定语，hers＝her ruler作主语)
